Today is March 11, 2020 and when I logged on to check my email I was overwhelmed to see that almost every news-headline contained the word ‘Corona Virus.' Every now and then a headline was sprinkled in there, which talked about someone's fashion sense. Today I decided to give you some pointers on how to use the Emotional Freedom Technique to help strengthen your immune system and to remove any fears this Corona virus and the headlines can cause.

I Get It!

Italy, who at the beginning of the week had issued a curfew in the greater Milan area, has now extended their warnings for the entire country. Over 60 million people are affected by these new emergency rules. I live one mile from the Italian border and only an hour from Milan. We are certainly affected here as well, especially since hundreds of thousands of Italians enter and exit Switzerland daily for work. Everyone knows someone to be afraid for, or is scared for themselves due to health reasons. My 80-year old mom has stage three emphysema and she may have a most difficult time making it through a Corona virus attack. My own body is affected by Myesthenia Gravis, an auto-immune system that weakens my muscles, especially my lungs. Throughout life I've had more than 20 bronchitis and 7 pneumonias in my life and if I were to contract the Corona Virus I too would have a high chance of not making it through.

EFT Can Help!

I'm not saying that EFT is the only solution or even a solution at all. EFT is another tool in your tool box that can help do a lot of good, not only physically, but also in the fear department. Additionally, a good diet, appropriate vitamins and hygiene are all important. We also must be vigilant during this time and use our common sense to avoid spreading germs. This is not just a time about avoiding getting the virus, it is in particular a matter of not spreading it to anyone else. So many people in their attempt to push through initial feelings of illness go to work anyway. Now this attitude must change. We must stay home the moment we feel just even the slightest sign of physical symptoms – in consideration of others. This is not a time to push through and show that you are tough. You may just save a life this way!

While washing and sanitizing your hands is essential these days, EFT can also help in helping you reduce fear of getting sick and by strengthening your immune system. Here is how.

  1. Listen to your thoughts or conversations with others of what you think about this Corona virus.
  2. Pick these thoughts and turn them into your starting sentence.

EFT uses a tapping method that awakens, activates and programs specific meridian points in your body. Each tapping point corresponds to a specific meridian point, which in turn corresponds to a specific organ. By acknowledging the fear or concern, and then tapping the ideal situation directly into your meridian points, you strengthen the programming of some 70 trillion living cells to work at optimum levels, while at the same time helping the dead, useless cells in your body to flush out of your system.

How I Use EFT

This condition, Myesthenia Gravis, gives a 30-35% average of being deadly. Heat and medication can make the lungs to get paralyzed, causing suffocation. There is no known cure for MG and no one knows what causes it. I tried medication for one month when I was initially diagnosed with it in 2011. But it made me so foggy and groggy, that I couldn't function normally. I tossed the meds and since then I have resorted to alternative methods, such as EFT, as well as Transcendental Dowsing. I am fully aware that a virus is still a virus and being careless and exposing myself to any viruses attacking my immune system would most likely still cause me to get sick or even die. That's why with EFT I can program my mind and body to do the following for me:

  • Transmute and remove any fears of getting sick.
  • Removing any concerns of having too weak of a immune system to fight this Corona virus, should I get exposed to it.
  • Strengthening my immune system using EFT daily.
  • Tapping to flush out any old and unused cells, making room for stronger and more resilient cells to take their place.
  • Programming my body and mind to want to eat healthy and to get an internal alert the moment I'm on the wrong track in any way.
  • Programming my intuition to giving me a strong inner urge to say “no” when needing to go out in public, if there is any chance at all that I could attract the virus. Using EFT to strengthen your intuition is a wonderful way of becoming more intuitive. Having your intuitive channels work at optimum levels is a must-have when you want to be in the right place at the right time, always divinely guided and protected.

EFT Starting Sentences

The thing when doing EFT, which is super important to remember, is to acknowledge the non-beneficial before tapping for the positive. People who are well-versed in the law of attraction sometimes have a tendency to stick their head in the sand when it comes to at least acknowledging the issue. This must be done first or your body won't be able to flush out the useless ‘stuff!' Equally as important is to remember not to stay in the negative vortex but to get out of it and into the positive vortex quickly.

Here is an example:

  1. Starting sentence: “Even though I'm so afraid of getting the Corona virus, I deeply love and accept myself.” (Problem and Solution)
  2. Second sentence: “I'm terrified of getting sick.” (Fear)
  3. Third sentence: “I can't afford to get sick.” (Acknowledgment of Consequences)
  4. Fourth sentence: “I refuse to be controlled by any virus.” (Taking a Stand)
  5. Fifth sentence: “I want to be healthy.” (Beginning of Positive Vortex)
  6. Sixth sentence: “My body is strong.” (Continue Positive Rotations)
  7. Seventh sentence: “The cells in my body are protecting me.” (Commanding the Body)
  8. Eighth sentence: “My immune system knows exactly how to keep me healthy.” (Keep going…)
  9. Keep going by visualizing and programming your body through each meridian point with positive affirmations.

These are just some examples to show you the start, the acknowledgment of the issue and the switch towards the positive. You cannot skip the beginning problem sentences or EFT will not be able to help you flush out the non-beneficial energy! All you need to remember is not to get sucked down into a ditch of self-pity, by staying there too long. State the problem, acknowledge your fear around the issue, how it could affect you negatively and then get out of that situation by stating how you want things to be. It's like having a meaningful conversation with a loved one, with whom you want to resolve an issue. Not everything is always perfect in a relationship. Sometimes we must look at the issue, have the courage to talk about it and then come up with solutions and how we want things to be. Every EFT session should function the same.

Measure Your Before and After

For those of you who are in my EFT courses, you know that we also take a measurement of ‘before and after,' so that we can keep track of how are doing. If you can't get your fear level down to a 2 (on a scale of 1-10), you simply repeat the session until the fear or condition subsides.

Remember, EFT is not a miracle cure, it is merely an added on tool in your toolbox to help you navigate through a state of fear or a physical or financial situation. EFT can be used for so many things, it's quite delightful – and fun! It's also free and takes less than 2 minutes per session.

Use My Power Mantra

Finally, do remember my power mantra. Repeat it often, sing it, hum it, write it out, think it – until it is firmly programmed into every cell of your body:

“I am divinely guided and protected and always in the right place at the right time.”

This mantra has worked for thousands of my students. It will work during this time as well!
